How This Portfolio Picks and Balances Stocks

Scans a fixed liquid-stock universe daily for 52-week-high breakouts confirmed by volume and top-decile relative strength, holding a concentrated 5-8 position book with a strict trailing stop-loss and a rule-based partial profit-take.

The exact rule, in full, as currently in effect (revision 1, effective Jul 15, 2026):

Universe: a fixed liquid-stock watchlist screened for minimum average daily volume. Entry: new 52-week high, confirmed by volume > 2x the 20-day average volume and a relative-strength percentile in the top decile of the universe. Position sizing: equal-weighted across 5-8 concurrent positions. Exit: an 8% trailing stop-loss from each position's high-water mark, or a rule-based partial profit-take (trim one-third) at +25% unrealized gain.
