These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AskProsper (the "Service"), operated by AskProsper ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of the Service

AskProsper provides educational content, tools, and articles related to options trading strategies (including the "wheel strategy"), personal finance, and tax topics. Some articles are drafted with the assistance of artificial intelligence and reviewed by a human editor before publication. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

3. Not Financial, Investment, or Tax Advice

Nothing on AskProsper constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument. See our full Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are solely responsible for your own investment and financial decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional before acting on any content from the Service.

4. Accounts

Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Email Subscriptions and Communications

If you subscribe to receive new-article notifications, we will email you when new content is published. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email, or via our self-service Cancel My Subscription page. Unsubscribing does not affect your account (if you have one) — it only stops article-notification emails.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (d) scrape, harvest, or reproduce Service content at scale without our written permission; or (e) misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including articles, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software — is owned by AskProsper or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share individual articles for personal, non-commercial use (including via the sharing tools we provide), but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service's content in bulk without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party websites and service providers (see our Privacy Policy for a list). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT (INCLUDING AI-GENERATED ARTICLES) IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASKPROSPER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT — INCLUDING ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES FROM TRADING OR INVESTMENT DECISIONS — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AskProsper and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and, if applicable, request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to first contact us at the email below so we can attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
